SOAP BOILING KETTLES:
Cylindrical
Shell made in S. S. 304 / Mild Steel having Conical Bottom with open
top duly reinforced in high thickness Angle. The Shell will be arranged
with 'C' class Steam pipe. There will be an Skimmer pipe with Winch and
chain for taking out Neat Soap. To Discharge Spent Lye / Nigre, the
conical portion outlet will be filled with a suitable gate valve.
The
net Soap drawn from the Kettle through skimmer pipe is transferred to a
Crutcher. As the soap leaving the pan contains small percentage of free
alkali which is neutralized in the Crutcher by addition of oil orfatty
acids ete.
Its
use is very common for Washing and Toilet Soap. Apart from reduction of
alkali contents in the neat soap its other application is addition of
various additives in the soap for a uniform mixing.
Crutcher
consist of a container, open top, mounted with drive system. Mixing of
mass carried out by a vertical. worm revolving in a cylindrical barrel
made of Mild Steel with an external jacket for hot water circulation or
steam. A control valve on the bottom of crutcher adjust the discharge
of mixed mass for cooling in Moulds or fed into a feeding tank for
evaporating undesired moisture in an automizer.
